  In the morning, the owner scolded us for coming down for breakfast at 10:20 (normally served from 9:00-10:30) and then suggested we were crazy when we reminded him that we and our friends had paid less than 40€ TOTAL the last time. We weren't trying to get out of paying the (new?) price, we were just trying to let the guy know that there was a mistake on his end -- not ours, in case maybe he wanted to meet us halfway somehow, and try to avoid it in the future.

  We'll be avoiding this place in the future. A pity, it is really nice... but the guy who runs the place now seems to us like a classic example of a neo-pseudo-hippie, with messages of peace & love written all over his walls, who tries really hard to live by them and project his blissful state upon others... but really, he's deeply frustrated

  When we had been here before, we paid a little less than 40€ a night for the (very) lovely cabaña. We heard stories about the original owner of the place - an obsessed climber who created a haven for other climbers, but then was a terrible host. He would kick people out before they were ready to leave. This time, after a nice stay, we ended up leaving on a sour note, too, which made it easy to imagine how guests of the old owner must have felt. We had called to reserve by phone, and were told the price was 40€ a night, a slight increase from the last time. But on the second of our two-day stay, we were advised that it's 40€ PER PERSON per night, so actually the price increase by more than DOUBLE. We contacted some other friends who had stayed there and sure enough, they also always paid around 40€ a night (for two people).

  Basic but good place with friendly owner to stay some nights and enjoy mountain sports througout the day. They also serve food.
